Dariya Maminova (*1988, Saint-Petersburg) is a composer, pianist, singer, performer and painter, currently living in Cologne, Germany. Dariya works in the fields of experimental instrumental and electronic music, improvisation, musical theatre, and pop music.
She had received The GEMA young talent award for the year of 2024, was elected in 2022 for the composer portrait cd by the Deutsche Musikrat Podium Gegenwart and recieved the 2020 Bernd-Alois-Zimmerman prize of the city of Cologne.
Dariya is currently the composer in residence at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden for the season of 2024/2025
