Dariya Maminova (*1988, Saint-Petersburg) is a composer, pianist, singer, performer and painter, currently lives in Cologne, Germany. Dariya works in the field of experimental instrumental, electronic music, improvisation, musical theater, and pop music.
Dariya received the German Music Author Award in the category “Newcomers” in the contemporary music section for the year of 2024, was selected in 2022 by the Deutsche Musikrat Podium-Gegenwart to record a portrait Album and in 2020 received the prestigious Bernd-Alois-Zimmerman prize of the city of Cologne.
Dariya is currently the composer in residence at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden for the season of 2024/2025
